Is there a time limit for the Internship?

There is no set time frame for internships and can vary from 6 weeks through to 12 months. Skill Placement Australia can negotiate the internship duration to suit your availability.

Will I be paid for the Internship?

Skill placement Australia arranges both Paid and Unpaid internships. Although most of our internships are voluntary non-paid internships, we also arrange paid work placements depending on the nature of the internship.

How much will the Internship cost?

All successful candidates are required to pay a total fee of $950.00.

Application fee: $100.00

Placement fee: $850.00

Total Cost :$950.00

*Please note this does not include any insurance fees that need to be obtained before starting the internship.

Is the application fee refundable?

The application fee is fully refundable if we are unable to find you with a suitable internship within the first 4 months since you have been accepted in to the program.

Application fee will be partially refunded if you decided not to proceed before we start any work on your application.

Once we have started working on your applications and start contacting host organizations the application fee won’t be refunded if you decide to withdraw from the internship program.

How long will it take to arrange my Internship?

There is usually a waiting period between 2 – 3 months

Do I need Insurance Cover?

You must provide proof of accident, medical, travel and personal liability insurance prior to starting the internship. Skill Placement Australia also can arrange insurance if requested.
